The Eastlake Marketplace shopping center project seems to be showing some progress! The project was announced awhile back, okay, I know, it's been quite some time since it was announced back in 2015, but now it looks like we may have some answers. Eastlake Marketplace is set to be developed at the corner of I-10 West and Eastlake Boulevard, which is great for far eastsiders.

Over the weekend a picture of the development plan started circulating on social media, but no one knew if it was real. Fortunately for us, HorizonCity.com has confirmed that the development plan is indeed real, you can check it out below.

Looks like the far eastside will finally be getting the Cinemark that was promised those years ago; on several occasions many eastsiders noticed the Cinemark "Coming Soon" sign, only for it to be mysteriously taken down. According to the officials that HorizonCity.com spoke to, they'll have an updated timeline by mid-summer but a date for groundbreaking has not been set. Which of these are you excited to see on the far eastside?
