As someone who has bitten into a Dunkin' donut that was FILLED with Sriracha, I can honestly tell you that something spicy on a donut is not ideal. It took me a good, long while before I could eat donuts again after that experience; although I feel like Brandon got the worst part of it- his donut had fish paste. Which is exactly why I was confused when I saw that Dunkin' announced its first ever spicy donut- just in time for Halloween. The Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut, you know Ghost Pepper, right? Only one of the hottest chili peppers in the world!

The Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut is made like a regular donut and topped with strawberry icing. It's the icing you have to worry about- sprinkled on top of what is a delicious donut is a mix of cayenne pepper and ghost pepper.

The new donut flavor is available now through December.

I'm all for something spicy on the menu- looking at you McDonald's spicy chicken McNuggets, but this is questionable. I want to know who it was in the board room that thought: "Hey, you know what donuts are missing? Chili!" and then went out and got Ghost Peppers?! Why ruin a perfectly good donut?

I'm sure many people will be rushing to get this, as is with any new limited item, but this is a hard pass for me. Again, I BIT INTO A DONUT THAT HAD SRIRACHA! I can still taste it sometimes! Dunkin', how dare you?
