Dona Ana Sheriff’s Explain Use of Force Rules

Dona Ana county includes Las Cruces, Mesilla, Sunland Park, part of Anthony and most of Chaparral so, if you don't live there, you probably go there a lot. The DASO are holding a class to explain their policies on the use of force May 7th at DASO headquarters, 845 Motel Blvd.

the use of force in police work, and the decisions law enforcement officers are trained to make in potentially deadly situations, according to a news release. The class also includes a shoot/don’t shoot simulated scenario for participants, along with detailed information on the various classes and curriculum law enforcement officers are required to learn.
