Don't forget to check out the POLL BELOW:

It's the new year and I'm trying to watch all the shows on Netflix that I can before they leave this January. This list could include one of my all-time favorite sitcoms featuring my "manic pixie dream girl" Zooey Deschanel in a show called "New Girl" that aired on FOX from 2011 to 2018.

Produced by Elizabeth Merriweather and Zooey Deschanel the show is about four roommates Nick, Winston, Schmidt, and Jess, living in an LA loft and how the introduction of a girl (Zooey Deschanel/Jess) influences the group dynamics.

It's incredibly relatable, especially to anybody living in their late twenties or early 30s, and really funny. Speaking as a comedian I think the writing on this show is superb and could make anyone laugh, including your 90-year-old grandma.

In season 2 episode 14 the group comes up with a word to describe something one of the roommates do that they all talk about behind his back.

It's called a POGO, AND according to the NEW GIRL in this Episode (S2E14), this is the definition:

Pogo, in house parlance, is a personality quirk that irritates the other housemates so much that they talk about it. The term comes from Winston’s overeager boner, which appears with such startling regularity that Nick, Jess, and Schmidt had to invent a shorthand for discussing it.

NOW I live on my own, but three months ago I did have a couple of roommates, one of them being Buzz, which left me wondering did he have a pogo or did I?
