Do You Have An Outstanding Warrant in El Paso? Read This!

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office, all the El Paso County justice of the peace precincts and constables are offering amnesty for outstanding warrants.The amnesty period for Class C misdemeanors and traffic citations began Monday and runs through September 28.  During that time, residents can go to the appropriate justice of the peace office and pay the warrant without having to pay the failure-to-appear charge for each citation.  Each failure-to-appear charge could carry a $200 to $300 fine.   If you've been putting off paying your warrant because of the cost, now would be a good time to pay up.  You can search the Sheriff's Office List of outstanding warrants at Elpasotimes.com.
