As a lover of TV and movies, it should come as no surprise that I subscribe to a number of different streaming services. I have the usual subscriptions- Netflix, Hulu, Prime and Disney Plus.

I'm also one to subscribe to the not so basic ones like Shudder or Paramount Plus. Most recently, I fell victim to a new streaming service- Discovery Plus!

Discover Plus has all the hits of trashy TV that I love like "My 600 Pound Life" and all the "90-Day Fiancé" spinoffs. But it also includes Food Network and Travel Channel hits like "Diners, Drive In's & Dives" and "Ghost Adventures".

Of course the first thing I did when I got the streaming service was look up the El Paso episode of "Diner's, Drive Ins & Dives" and to my horror, the episode was not there! Well, apparently the trip Guy Fieri had in El Paso is broken up to into four different episodes- and none of them are there!

I moved on and, after the terrible fire the De Soto Hotel suffered, I decided to check out the "Ghost Adventures" episode that featured the De Soto and Concordia Cemetery. Again, that episode was not there!

Upon doing some research, there are quite a few episodes missing from both shows. Some forums online mention copyright issues- but these episodes were in El Paso, with full approval from the places that were visited.

Maybe it's the plan I purchased? I'm pretty sure I got the highest tier of the subscription plan; but if that's not the case, why do I have to pay more to see episodes that were filmed in MY OWN TOWN?! What the heck, Discovery?

There's still tons of stuff to watch on Discover Plus, but I'm a little bummed I can't watch the episodes that feature El Paso.
