"If it helps our employees get work done, then we don't care if they consume at work."

Almost all offices in the United States would fire you if they caught you smoking a joint at work. One Denver-based startup has decided that if smoking weed helps their workers, then they don't have a problem with it. Not to mention the company works closely with the cannabis industry.

The company, called Flowhub, was created by cofounders Kyle Sherman and Chad Wiseman to provide software for the cannabis industry. The company was created last year, and the founders say that the company has been weed friendly since day one and that they also participate in the "smoke breaks."

Flowhub has 18 employees and although smoking weed is legal, smoking in the building isn't allowed. Employees instead bring cannabis infused edibles and drinks. The company is also located by two social networking platform companies for marijuana users who also allow weed at work. All three companies say that having marijuana at work allows for more creativity in the workplace, as well as a de-stresser for employees. The companies say there hasn't been any negative effects from the cannabis use and as long as workers are more productive and creative they will allow it.
