The band Dead Sara stopped by KLAQ's Austin studio as the Morning Show goes live from the SXSW Festival. Singer Emily Armstrong and guitarist Siouxsie Medley chatted with Buzz, Duke and Teresa AND performed live.

The girls, who are from LA, say they're going on their first tour. They said they've traveled the west side of the country, but this will be the first time they really get out there, with two shows planned in El Paso in the next couple of months, including the KLAQ Balloonfest and will be playing with Chevelle at Tricky Falls.

The girls said they want to go up in a hot air balloon while at Balloonfest, but were a little scared by the thought of having to get up at 5 a.m.

The band says that their name came from the Fleetwood Mac song, "Sara," which Buzz informed them, according to rumors, Stevie Nicks wrote about her would-be child after having an abortion.
