In Texas, we like our weddings big, bold, and sometimes served with a side of soft-serve. So when a groom named Blizzard tied the knot with his bride in true Dairy Queen style, it felt like the universe- and the dessert menu- was aligning just right.

Bradley Blizzard and Olivia Morris didn’t just embrace the frozen magic of their shared last name- they totally leaned all the way in, saying “I do” with a swirl of sweetness, a splash of Texas flair, and yes, plenty of Blizzards to go around.

It all started with a last name and a little Texas-sized charm. Back in 2023, Olivia jokingly posted a TikTok tagging Dairy Queen, asking if they’d help celebrate her future wedding to Mr. Blizzard himself.

DQ didn’t just say yes- they showed up with sprinkles on top. From a themed engagement shoot to surprise Blizzards at the ceremony, the brand leaned into the love story just as hard as the happy couple did.

Let’s be honest- this was a pretty cool move from Dairy Queen. Instead of just dropping a like and moving on, they fully committed to the bit. The Texas Dairy Queen team gifted the couple a custom “Mrs. Blizzard” denim jacket, loaded them up with merch and gift cards, and even delivered personalized Blizzards for the wedding party on the big day. It was brand support done right- playful, generous, and sweeter than a dipped cone on a summer afternoon.

Hats off to Dairy Queen for understanding the assignment- and most importantly, congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Blizzard for fully embracing their frosty fate!

So what’s next for Texas weddings? A ceremony at Buc-ee’s with beaver nuggets instead of rice? A Whataburger reception complete with spicy ketchup toasts? One thing’s for sure: love is in the air in Texas!
