Club 101 has once again decided to close their doors, but say they will be back in a new location.

Club 101 first opened their doors in Downtown El Paso 25 years ago. Since then, the establishment has moved from their original location in Downtown El Paso a few times before returning Downtown a year ago. Club 101 was known for their concerts, bringing popular acts like Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode, Social Distortion, Rob Zombie, Static X, and Rancid among others in the '90s and 2000s.

The establishment announced their decision on their Facebook this morning.

“Club 101 would like to thank everyone for 25 years of support!” Club 101 posted Friday on its Facebook page. “Due to circumstances beyond our control, our downtown location is closed. Stay tuned for upcoming news on our new location!!”

The decision to close their doors temporarily seems sudden, since on Tuesday, they were still promoting an event that was supposed to happen tonight at the venue.
