Cheech Marin Definitely Cares About The Chicanos In El Paso
Last year CBS This Morning spoke to Cheech Marin on his art collection becoming the nation's first Chicano museum. This past weekend Cheech was in El Paso at the El Paso Museum of Art in Downtown.
"Papel Chicano Dos: Works on Paper" featured leading El Paso artist Gaspar Enriquez. Most young artists usually start off using paper to let their magic and creativity paint a picture. Cheech wants to help showcase the Chicano artists culture that is overlooked by some. I know I am not the only one who had their Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and all other social media blowing up with Cheech selfies. I only had two friends who were lucky to be in Cheech Marin's company over the weekend. My friend Eddie Cabral attended the event and even got to take a picture with Cheech Marin.
If you were wondering why Cheech Marin was just hanging out in El Paso, it was for a good cause!
