There are so many great animals available for adoption right now at the City of El Paso Animals Services. Check out some of the cute dogs and cats that are available now!

The City of El Paso Animal Services works hard to try and help the abandoned and lost animals here in El Paso. Many animals have lived in homes for years, and their owners simply decide give them away. Many say they don't want them anymore, they jump the fence too much, they're moving and can't find a place that takes dogs, they're too old and countless other reasons.

Even in my time at Animal Services today, a man came with his chihuahua he's had for less than two years, and he simply decided it was too much trouble to find somewhere that takes dogs. These animals come into Animal Services confused as to why they are there. They've been good pets, loved their humans, and did everything to try and make their family happy. And sadly, they are still given up.

Stray dogs have a similar, but slightly different problem. They've never known the warmth of a bed, the companionship of a human or been told how they are loved. They've only known what it's like to be cold, hungry and lonely on the streets. These animals deserve to know what it's like to be loved, and what a happy home is like.

Look at these animals available right now at Animal Services. These dogs are what are known as the VIP (Virtually Irresistible Pets) animals. They are spayed, neutered, have all their up to date shots, city registration and are microchipped. These animals are ready to go and be adopted right now into your family. Check out these dogs and cats and find the newest member of your family.
