Let's get off the COVID 19 pandemic for a minute with some good news!

Tommy Mora has had quite an impressive career in music. While that career took him away from El Chuco, he is still a card-carrying, die-hard El Pasoan and his Father still runs sound for many of the live events we attend here. Check out his bio, below, and his new video above. (Yes, he plays everything...)

Here more of Tommy's stuff here.

Tommy Mora- Biography Composer and multi-instrumentalist Tommy Mora is originally from El Paso, Texas. Tommy is credited for creating a unique sound in Rock that incorporates the timelessness of the 60’s and 70’s music with a contemporary sound that could be called “New Vintage”. In January of 2000 Tommy decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his love of music and quickly landed a position at the world famous SIR studios in Hollywood where his audio engineering talents were immediately recognized. Soon he was in charge of mixing for all Grammy shows and rehearsals. This paved the way for his role as mixing engineer for artists such as Marc Anthony, Guns and Roses, Jenniffer Lopez, KISS, Al Green and Prince to name a few. Tommy Mora’s new brand of Rock found the perfect home within the diversity of LA’s music scene. He has continued to perform all over the Los Angeles metropolitan area including legendary clubs such as The Roxy, Whiskey A Go Go, Viper Room and House of Blues while still making appearances in his native Texas. Tommy and his electrifying band have shared the stage with artists that include Booker T. Jones, Jefferson Starship, WAR, Los Lobos, Ozomatli and Los Lonely Boys. His latest album release “Rise” is scheduled for Sept. 2020.
