Krazy Arrow Ranchette in Chaparral, New Mexico, just 20 minutes outside of El Paso, has one crazy emu who loves to wear hats!

In case you missed it, Krazy Arrow Ranchette is a small family farm in Chaparral who has recently gotten even more popular since they've introduced themselves to the Foodies of El Paso to advertise that they are selling eggs!

I don't know if you've ever had a farm fresh egg but I LOVE them! Any chance I get to buy some farm fresh eggs I do it, and I highly suggest you do too!

What is Krazy Arrow Ranchette?

Their post went kind of viral, especially with the recent rise in price of eggs. After that, Krazy Arrow Ranchette took the opportunity to introduce themselves to their new followers where we all learned a little bit more about this family owned farm.

We learned that this unique farm's goal is education and outreach.

We want you to have the knowledge & a resource should you decide to get into livestock ownership.

Some of the great things Krazy Arrow Ranchette offer are:

Open Farm Night where the community is invited to visit the farm and walk around and get to know the animals and new friends!

Farm Fresh Eggs- which is the reason they went viral; here's a fun tidbit they added:  "Currently we only have chicken eggs. Availability varies. We are looking to expand." 

Back in December, they were able to procure some emu eggs; they look huge!

Most importantly, they offer some educational events where they sometimes team up with schools or The Humane Society of El Paso to bring animals in for outreach & education.

But I think the real star of this show is Paddy, their emu who loves to wear some very colorful hats! Check him out.
