Despite the fact that trick-or-treating is cancelled everywhere, candy is still being sold by the pound out there! The National Retail Federation is estimating that shoppers will spend about $2.6 billion on Halloween Candy this year. But what will they buy? CandyStore.com has come out with a list of America's favorite Halloween Candy and some on the top ten are not surprising but one clearly is. The top ten are;

1. Skittles
2. M&M's
3. Snicker's
4. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
5. Starburst
6. Candy Corn
7. Hot Tamales
8. Hershey's
9. Tootsie Pops
10. Jolly Ranchers

First of all, how are Snicker's not number one? I don't understand, when it comes to candy the are the superior choice! But I digress. Skip on over to number six. Candy corn. I LOVE candy corn. Not long ago, I wrote about how I couldn't figure out if I actually liked candy corn or not; the consensus was that, yes, I do indeed like candy corn.

While our good friend comedian BT was in the studio this past week, we ran down a list of favorite candy by generations. Now, Buzz says he's not a Boomer, but that's hard to believe. For the most part, each generation could agree that Snicker's and peanut butter cups were the top choice, but candy corn only appeared on the list for millennial's! According to The Takeout, millennial's are actually keeping the candy corn industry alive by stating that candy is the "treat they most look forward to finding after trick-or-treating on Halloween." And who can blame us? Sure it's wax and sugar, but something about it that just makes it feel right, it's not Halloween until you bust out the candy corn!
