Buffalo’s Josh Allen Reps El Paso’s ‘Pancho Billa’ Jacket

The Buffalo Bills have a damn good team. They're the first team to win the AFC East other than the New England Patriots since 2008. And they are heading into the playoffs with a 13 and 3 record, which is good enough for the number 2 seed in the AFC. The Bills were also able to keep the Miami out of the playoffs by defeating the Dolphins easily 56 to 26. Yesterday while Josh Allen was walking around in his street clothes, he was seen rocking a "Pancho Billa" jacket.

This is a tribute to Bills superfan Ezra "Pancho Billa" Castro, who was from El Paso. Castro passed away back in 2019 at the age of 39 after a long battle with cancer, but you know he's upstairs watching down on his Bills, loving every minute of how good they've become.

When Allen was asked about the jacket he said:

I just saw it in my closet. I’ve never worn it. We all know what Pancho meant to this organization and the love he had for this team. What better way to have him recognized again. We know he’s up there looking down on us, and smiling.

Castro has a lot to be proud of and be happy about. The Bills start their playoff run this Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts with an 11:05am MST kickoff. Of all the teams in the playoffs that look like they have the best shot at dethroning the Chiefs, I think the Bills might be that team. The Steelers are suddenly horrific, and other than that, I'm not sure there's any other team that should scare the Chiefs in the AFC.
