U.K. breakthrough band Bring Me the Horizon will soon be hard at work on their next album, which these deathcore haulers say is influenced by post-rock bands like Explosions in the Sky and This Will Destroy You.

The band told Alternative Press that it should be back in the studio by the summer to record what will be their fourth album. BMTH just have to write it first. Guitarist Jona Weinhofen said, “We have really big aspirations for this record. However, there is a very little amount of new material. We’re not very good at getting motivated to write on tour.”

The band released ‘There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let’s Keep It a Secret’ to much fanfare in 2010.

In other BMTH news, the band  has linked up with Draper to remix a handful of songs from said album under the banner ‘Bring Me The Horizon & Draper Present: The Chill Out Sessions.’ Head over to the band’s website tomorrow, Jan. 1, as they will post the remixes there for your enjoyment. Good way to start the new year, eh?
