MCA of Beastie Boys Dies at 47

MCA, aka Adam Yauch, has died, according to Russel Simmons' site, GlobalGrind.com. He was 47.

MCA had been battling cancer. It wasn't immediately know whether his death was a result of his illness.

Yauch co-founded the Grammy-winning Beastie Boys back in 1979. He leaves behind a wife and daughter.
