Bike Runs Saturday and Sunday This Weekend

Two chances to get in the wind this weekend.

Saturday, roll with the New Mexico Rolling Thunder chapter in their POW/MIA awareness ride. Registration is from 1-3 p.m. at Barnett Harley Davidson.

Kickstands up at 3 p.m. and evertyone's off to American Legion Post 58 at 4724 Vulcan. There, you'll find vendors, food, drinks, prizes, an auction, a 50/50 drawing and live music from the Rockabilly Strangers.

There will also be a bike/car wash presented by Biker Chicks of El Paso.

Sunday, get out and about again with Forgotten Renegades MC to benefit Outward Bound For Veterans. Registration is from 10am - Noon at Rudy's BBQ, 6401 S. Desert. Stops are:

• Texas Street Cantina, 912 Texas Ave.
• Incredible's Lounge, 5011 Alabama
• Special Edition,  3333 N. Yarborough

At the last stop, you'll find plenty to eat and drink, music, prizes, a 50/50 drawing and lots more. $10 per rider, $15 for rider and passenger. Independent riders are welcome as well as non-riders.
