On Friday, everyone's heart skipped a beat when it was announced that Rage Against the Machine was reuniting in 2020. The only information given at the time was their official Instagram revealing their only post. The lone post nearly broke the internet when only five dates and four cities were displayed. Among them El Paso AND Las Cruces.

The El Paso and Las Cruces dates are only two days apart. While no details have been confirmed, no venue, no ticket prices, one thing is for sure; El Paso is ready!

In 2016 we saw a different Rage when Prophets of Rage came through the borderland and brought their "Make America Rage Again" tour to the El Paso County Coliseum. While the Prophets were certainly still touring, after the Instagram post heard round the world, they suddenly disbanded and announced that the Prophets were done. This only fueled the rumors that RATM was DEFINITELY reuniting and that they were DEFINITELY touring! After eight long years since their last performance in LA, the possibility of Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk on the same stage again was becoming more and more real.

While many of us were trying to figure out what was happening (i.e. Lisa and I still recovering from My Chemical Romance reuniting and in the MIDDLE OF THE SHOW we're trying to confirm details with our boss) many El Pasoan's took to Twitter to express their feelings on the announcement. Here are some of the best reactions. Because it is a fanbase around RATM, some of these may contain some profanity.
