Best Moments From Game of Thrones Comic Con Panel [VIDEO]

The video is almost an hour long so I watched it for you and let you know what the best parts are!

I blame Buzz completely for my new obsession with Game of Thrones. I watched all the seasons in about a week and now can't watch for the new season to start. I had to see the Comic Con panel discussion in San Diego this past weekend and loved learning new details about not only the show, but the filming of the series. Here are some moments that I loved:

1. Richard Madden (Robb Stark) cried on his way home after filming the "Red Wedding" scene. He also was drinking the entire way too. Judging by the fact he lost his wife and job at that moment, I assume it was emotional for his character and himself.

2. Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen/ Khaleesi/ I want to be her) has been nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in Game of Thrones. Her role in the show and the way she plays our beloved Khaleesi makes me think this award is hers!

3. Skip to 14:45 to see something that made my heart flutter! Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) coming back from the dead to kiss his beloved Khaleesi onstage. This takes everyone by surprise and Emilia Clarke joking calls out to "her sun and stars." By far one of my favorite moments from this panel.

4. John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) believes his character of Samwell Tarly has grown as a man by becoming a father to the baby named after him and saving Gily and her son from the white walkers.

5. Kit Harington (John Snow) believes that his character looks and longs for a paternal figure in his life, when he would assume he would be looking for a maternal figure, since he did not know his mother. John is drawn to those big, formidable men who want to mold him into a younger version of themselves and he finally gets sick of that in the next season and becomes that person himself. Excited!

6. Another amazing you can't believe he just said that moment? Skip to 26 minute mark to hear the moderator make a black joke about himself. (He states he can't say stand your ground as a black man in this country). The cast laughs awkwardly and it is an awkward moment, considering most of them aren't even Americans.

7. After scenes between Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) Charles gives Peter a pat on the shoulder, to show him hes still his buddy. After seeing the way Charles has to belittle Peter, I think a nice cup of coco would be necessary as well.

8. George R. R. Martin, the author of the Games of Thrones books, lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. So if you want to personally yell at him for the Red Wedding, it really isn't that far of a drive.

9. Author of Game of Thrones George R. R. Martin said he wants to write the books so he can keep up with the show. Thank goodness! I don't want this to turn into something like Walking Dead completely, where they stray too far off from the books. Let's keep it as true to the books as possible.

10. George R. R. Martin said he would be willing to write another book set in Westeros, just not the immediate story of the rise of the Baratheon House. Perhaps a story about the Mad King? We will have to wait and see!
