On July 13th, El Paso boxer Antonio Escalante was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and provided the breath sample of 0.21, more than double the legal limit, according to his arrest report from the El Paso Police Department. After being pulled over, cops say Escalante could not complete the standardized field sobriety test, and blew a 0.21 on the breath test.

The arrest was Escalante's third in the past six months. In February, Escalante was arrested on suspicion of DWI, when he was found asleep at his wheel in a convenience store parking lot in Northeast El Paso. Last month, he was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 15.
