This Sunday, March 23rd get ready for another closure happening on the west side of El Paso.

Starting at 3 a.m. on Sunday, get ready for more congested roads and headaches on the west side of El Paso. The Go 10 Project will be having another one of their 27 hours freeways closures for you to enjoy (please note the sarcasm).

Starting this weekend on March 23rd (Saturday) at 3 a.m., I-10 Westbound will be COMPLETELY CLOSED from Executive Center Blvd to North Mesa Street. The I-10 eastbound exit ramp and entrance ramp for Sunland Park will be closed, while Sunland Park Drive will be CLOSED from Constitution Drive to the mall traffic lights. The US 85 connector leading to Sunland Park Drive is CLOSED at McNutt Road, while Paisano Drive (US 85) will be CLOSED at Sunland Park Drive. Access to Paisano from Crockett Street will also be CLOSED, while the Resler flyover for I-10 East will be CLOSED as well. However, the I-10 east Sunland Park flyover will be OPEN to commuters. This closure will end March 23rd (Sunday) at 6 a.m.

To get through this heavily trafficked area, motorists can use Doniphan, North Mesa Street, and McNutt. You can find out more information on the Go 10 El Paso Twitter and website.
