The one thing homeless pets want for Christmas? A home for the holidays, and it may be your home! The City of El Paso Animal Services Center is working hard to try and get as many homeless animals into their forever homes for the holidays and you can help. Instead of buying your family a puppy or kitten from a breeder, head down to the Animal Services shelter and find an animal that has been waiting there for you.

Animal Services is currently having its Hope For The Homeless adoption campaign at the shelter. From now until December 14th, their goal is to have 400 pets adopted by the end of the campaign. As of December 3rd, 33 animals had been adopted from the shelter. To help them achieve their goal, adoption fees have been waived at both of the City of El Paso Animal Services shelters.

The Animal Services Center is located at 5001 Fred Wilson and is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. The Mission Valley Adoption Center is located at 9068 Socorro Road and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can call them at (915) 212-PAWS for more information.
