El Paso Animal Services continue their quest to become a 100% no - kill facility this weekend with a very special adoption fee. $1.00. A buck. 100 pennies. One freakin' dollar will save a pets life, get it a forever home and get you a new best ... or, would that be "beast" ... friend.

If you have lost a pet, this weekend Animal Services is also waiving the usual $60 impoundment fee for animals picked up in May and June. If you already have enough pets but still want to help, Animal Services is looking for people to foster pets and they are accepting donations.
