It turns out El Paso’s Aaron Jones is a touchdown machine in the playoffs, too.

Jones scored two touchdowns on Sunday (1/12) to help the Green Bay Packers defeat Seattle and advance to the NFC Championship game.

After his second, the former UTEP Miner and Burgess High alum flashed the numbers 9, 1, and 5 with his hands and flexed his bicep as homage to his hometown.

Jones, who has flashed both El Paso’s area code and the UTEP picks up sign after scoring since his 2017 rookie season, added the bicep flex signifying ‘El Paso Strong’ after the mass shooting of August 3.

Aaron and his teammates will face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Jan. 19. The winner will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl game Feb. 2.
