El Paso police and Crime Stoppers of El Paso are looking for a man who attacked a convenience store clerk while wearing a “Ghostface” mask like the one in the movie “Scream”.

The attack happened on Wednesday, November 16 at a 'Circle K' in Mission Valley, 8855 North Loop.

The masked individual reportedly attacked a clerk and, per the report on KFOX, was “carrying a knife during the attack”.  The clerk managed to escape from behind the counter but the attacker chased after him.

It’s unclear if the clerk received any injuries during the ordeal. Eventually, the victim was able to run into a bar where he remained until the police arrived.

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, gray cargo pants, neon work gloves, and gray tennis shoes.

Crime Stoppers and El Paso Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the attacker. Police spokesman Sgt. Javier Sambrano said, “We know somebody is going to recognize the body type or the manner that this person moved in.”

If anyone thinks they know who the attacker is or has any information they are encouraged to leave a tip, anonymous or otherwise, at 915-566-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.

I don’t know if this would get me the reward money or not, but…has anyone checked to see what Skeet Ulrich and Matthew Lillard were up to the night in question? I know it’s a long shot, but DO they both have alibis?
