32nd Annual KLAQ Halloween Parade Set for 2017 -- Enter Now

It's time to let your freak flag fly once again when the KLAQ Halloween Parade takes over Album Park on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017.

Cars, vans, trucks, bands and walkers can all participate for FREE. All you have to do is get pre-registered between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the day of the parade. At 3:30 p.m., we roll through 1.9 miles of El Paso neighborhoods. The parade ends and begins at Album Park.

Awards are handed out in the park immediately after the parade:

ROCK N' DRIVE CONTEST (vehicles and floats only)

1st place - $250 and a trophy
2nd place - $100 and a trophy
3rd place - $50 and a trophy

BEST DRESSED PEDESTRIAN CONTEST (walkers only)

1st place - $100 and a trophy
2nd place - $50 and a trophy
3rd place - $25 and a trophy

BUSINESS CATEGORY CONTEST (sponsors and business entries only)

1st place - $100 and a trophy
2nd place - $50 and a trophy
3rd place - $25 and a trophy

HIGH SCHOOL BANDS

1st place - $300 and a trophy
2nd place - $200 and a trophy
3rd place - $150 and a trophy
4th place - $100 and a trophy

PARADE ROUTE RULES

All entries must adhere to parade route and its speed.
Getting out of line from your arranged positions is NOT ALLOWED.
All participants and/or vehicles must display "KLAQ"
Vehicle entries must register at the Album Park registration center
People who walk mist pre-register at Album Park between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the day of the parade.
No alcohol of any kind is permitted at any point during the parade.
Judging will be based on individuals' creativity and imagination in utilizing the Halloween theme and concept. Judges' decisions are final.
KLAQ reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any entry or participant.
All participants agree not to hold KLAQ liable for any accidents. Each entrant acknowledges that he/she entries at their own risk.
