3 Legends That Talk About The Hidden Treasures In The Franklin Mountains

A couple years ago Jackson Polk was interviewed by Daniel and Cesar about the Lost Mine Padre treasure? Local Historian and film maker Jackson mentioned he knows of 3 different legends that take place here in El Paso.

Don Juan De Onate had explored our home town El Paso and brought back gold and silver and stashed his treasure in the mountains. Another familiar name you will remember hearing stories about is Pancho Villa. He also was one to bury his own treasure in the Franklin Mountains as well. Photo Journalist Cesar Ruiz and Daniel Marin decided to go treasure hunting themselves. They thought it would be a good idea to start on the street Lost Padre Mine Drive. Unfortunately Daniel and Cesar didn't find anything on their mission but got to see a nice view.
