Vocalist David Draiman has been hard at work with his new project Device since the indefinite hiatus of Disturbed was announced in late 2011. After much anticipation and ballpark estimates as to when the first Device album would be unleashed, we can now confirm that the band's debut album will be self-titled and see the light of day on April 9 via Warner Bros Records.
After the horrible events in Denver Thursday night, there has been a lot of talk about a lot of things such as gun control and crazy people. Understandable, as this happens any time some loon gets a weapon and wreaks havoc. One thing that has become kind of a hot topic is the age of the kids that were in the movie theater. There was at least one three-month-old baby in there.

Disturbed may be on hiatus for an unspecified period of time, but vocalist David Draiman is set to return with an industrial rock project, for which he has just unveiled a whole slew of details via Twitter.
David Draiman recently announced he was at work on a new “musical project” that will bring a more industrial vibe to the table. Now, the Disturbed frontman reveals that he has drafted a guitarist who knows the genre well — ex-Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo.
Disturbed may be on indefinite hiatus, but fans of vocalist David Draiman will be happy to hear that the singer announced via Twitter he is working on a new “musical project” in the vein of Nine Inch Nails and Ministry.
Disturbed are taking a well-publicized (and much deserved) break from making music and singer David Draiman plans to use his time off wisely by doing things like procreating. Well, he’ll be trying to, at least.
