David Draiman Willing to Baby-sit Your Children So You Can Go Out! Or Maybe Not

After the horrible events in Denver Thursday night, there has been a lot of talk about a lot of things such as gun control and crazy people. Understandable, as this happens any time some loon gets a weapon and wreaks havoc. One thing that has become kind of a hot topic is the age of the kids that were in the movie theater. There was at least one three-month-old baby in there.

David Draiman is pissed. About the shooting, and something else, too.

ALL YOU PARENTS OUT THERE THAT THINK ITS OK TO TAKE YOUR INFANTS OUT ON THE TOWN WITH YOU, TO A MOVIE THEATER OR OTHERWISE, DO THE WORLD A FAVOR. GIVE YOUR CHILDREN UP FOR ADOPTION TO PARENTS WHO KNOW WHAT IS IS TO BE A RESPONSIBLE PARENT, AND SACRIFICE ON BEHALF OF THEIR CHILDREN.

He also gives his phone number and says he'll gladly sit with your kids so you can go out and get drunk, watch a movie or dance 'til your legs fall off.

Okay, maybe that last part is a lie.

His point, what the hell are babies doing in movie theaters after midnight? Or anytime?

Many of us are easily annoyed by the crying babies in public places (especially when it goes on and on and the parents do nothing.) But this has nothing to do with our discomfort. It's about the health of the babies:

FORGET THE FACT THAT A 3 MONTH OLD SHOULD BE SAFE IN BED AT MIDNIGHT, FORGET THE FACT THIER FRAGILE IMMUNE SYSTEMS SHOULDNT BE SUBJECTED TO THE BACTERIAL PETRI DISH THAT IS A MOVIE THEATRE. THE PRIMARY ISSUE IS THE EFFECT THAT MOVIE THEATRE SOUND OFTEN AT DANGEROUS LEVELS OF DB, CAN DO PERMANENT DAMAGE TO A 3 MONTH OLD INFANT'S STILL DEVELOPING HEARING.
