As people got on their Finnair flight to Delhi (smarmy disclaimer: that would be a city in India, not a sandwich shop in Manhattan), they had no idea that they would get to see a huge Bollywood-style dance in celebration of India's Republic Day (Jan. 26). We're really looking forward to Saturday, July 2, because not only will we get Queensryche for Streetfest 2011, Bachman and Turner will be overdriving our Independence Day fun. They just recently started touring again -- first time in a couple of decades -- but they'be been back together long enough to play halftime of the Canadian Football League's Grey Cup late last year. Being a halftime show, they have to rehearse with the cheerleaders, which was a real treat for one Edmonton janitor...until he slipped and fell down the steps!
