Former president Donald Trump certainly has a lot of fans in Texas- which isn't really surprising. As the Donald prepares for the 2024 election, his supporters are starting to show their support with buttons, hats, lawn signs and even billboards.

However, this one billboard in a small Texas town is super cringey and being called "stupid" and even "embarrassing". Check it out below.

The stupidest billboard I have ever seen. Small town Texans are embarrassing.

If you can't make it out, the billboard says "Trump: Born in New York, But TEXAN in Spirit".

There's no word on where in Texas this billboard is up, so if anyone knows where let me know!

Okay, it's no secret that I'm not the biggest fan of Trump, but this is kind of cringey. I'm not saying you can't be Texan in spirit- just look at Sam Elliott, he was born in California but he's totally a Texan in spirit! Trump, however, I don't think so.

Needless to say, the post got over one thousand comments that had to agree this was probably not a good idea- and not a good representation of Texas as a whole as one comment notes how Trump likes to eat his steak:

The man puts ketchup on his steak... Hank Hill would be mortified

Also in the comments, to my surprise, many were reminded of that old Pace Picante sauce commercials where they made fun of salsa made in New York!

If Texans don't accept their salsa from New York, how is Trump an exception?

I'm okay with billboards supporting Trump- it's a free country- but this one takes it too far! Also, here's a reminder that Trump still owes El Paso, Texas $560,000.
