Man Claims Las Cruces Police Used Excessive Force, Fractured His Skull

Russ Flynn is suing the Las Cruces Police Department for $12.5 million after an alleged jailhouse attack on December 23, 2014.

The video shows two Las Cruces Police officers throwing the man around a cell while he is restrained. He suffered broken bones and a fractured skull. Flynn was hospitalized for days.

Russ Flynn is not only suing for $12.5 million dollars, but he is also asking for a criminal investigation to be conducted. The spokesman for the Las Cruces Police Department Dan Trujillo said they can not comment on pending legal matters.
