El Paso Shelter Hosting Concert To Help Families In Need

After the events of last year, there is a MIGHTY need for people to come together and to help one another. This Saturday, you have a chance to help families in need here in the Borderland, but also hear a TON of local musical artists while you do it.

Reynolds Home is a homeless shelter in the Lower Valley, located at 8023 San Jose, El Paso TX 79915. For over 30 years, they've been proudly providing shelter & necessities for families in El Paso, hosting numerous charity events. One of those events is the Women Who Rock event assisted by Alex Vargas from Alive Audio & it's happening this weekend.

This Saturday marks the 6th Annual "Women Who Rock" concert & every year, it's a showcase of local female talent in El Paso. This year it's being held at the German Pub, 9530 Viscount, it's completely free to attend, with over 11 different local artists performing (all with female musicians): Dulce Mal, Pie Music, Genesis Flores, Vivi Alde, Liz Tina, Fastback 6T7, Ari Yara, Mia Antifa, Zahdra the Great, Love Street, & students from the Let There Be Rock music school.

But it's not only a chance to hear amazing local artists, it's a perfect opportunity to help out people who need a little help; people are being asked to donate feminine products & toiletries for the Reynolds Home shelter. If enough donations are given, then the Reynolds Home will take the extra stuff & give them to OTHER shelters in El Paso.
