It's that time of year when we get the new shows. And sometimes you see a trailer for something and you're left scratching your head wondering who green-lit that garbage. Well, here is a Yes Or BS about some failed sitcoms.

  1. Jack Black was in a show where he played a retired astronaut who developed super powers and he had a talking motorcycle played by Owen Wilson.
    1. Yes - It was called Heat Vision and Jack and was created by Dan Harmon. The man behind Community and Rick and Morty. It was supposed to spoof Knight Rider and the 6 Million Dollar Man. The show never actually aired though.
  2. Amy Poehler did a show in 2001 where she played a personal assistant to a judge named Judge Reinhold, who was played by Judge Reinhold.
    1. Yes - The show was called North Hollywood. A couple other familiar names in the show were Jason Segel and Kevin Hart.
  3. Sarah Silverman did a spoof of Duck Dynasty called F### Dynasty and it was about a company that made sex toys.
    1. BS - This one's totally made up, but could see her doing something like this.
  4. There was a Superman spinoff in the '50s where everyone was a dog.
    1. Yes - It was called The Adventures of Superpup and took place in an alternate universe. It wasn't played by actual dogs, it was human actors wearing mascot costumes with dog heads.
  5. There was a British sitcom about Hitler called Heil Honey, I'm Home.
    1. Yes - Leave it to the Brits. It did get cancelled after just one episode back in 1990, but it was about Hitler and Eva Braun trying to get along with their Jewish neighbors in 1938 Berlin.
