I've been seeing this all over TikTok as something we should all be traveling with and never really paid much attention to it. To be honest, I didn't even really know what it was. But since all of this crazy flight stuff has been taking place recently, now when a TikTok comes across my feed, I perk up. What is this 'must-have gadget' that is being suggested to me?

It is an AirTag and I do believe with the canceled flights and lost luggage fiasco that is taking place even as I type this, it is absolutely something we should all have in this day and age.

We fly often. Fortunately, we have never had a lost luggage situation. I am thankful for that because that is not the case for many people and especially right now. I have a family member who flew to the Denver airport a couple of days ago and says that it is literally 'full of bags.' Translation: many folks lost luggage.

So what does the AirTag do and how would it help? Well the Apple AirTag came out the beginning of last year and was designed to attach to items that we all lose frequently. Things like car keys and wallets.  Accessories and items that we allow to be tracked in the event they get lost, with the AirTag, it works like a track my phone app except that you are tracking other items from your phone.
