We here at KLAQ know your hair is probably suffering the most through this quarantine right now. We know the importance of staying at home and really doing what you need to do to help the El Paso community.

For those who have already tried to contain their hair, you might have screwed it up. Don't worry, we want to help fix your quarantine cut by giving you a chance to win free haircuts for a year from Cool Joe Cuts.

Cool Joe Quarantine Contest Rules:

• Standard contest rules apply
• Photo must be of you and only you (no other people in frame)
• Photo must have been taken any time after the Stay at Home Order was placed on El Pasoans, which was on March 24th.
• Photo may only be submitted through KLAQ Mobile App
• One entry per person

We are running this contest starting from April 27th through May 17th till 11:59 pm. The grand prize winner will be drawn randomly at the end of the contest. One entry per person. The grand prize winner has 2 weeks to claim their prize.

WE'RE OFFICIALLY OPEN! It's about time, and we know you need that haircut. Since we are all a little loco because of the quarantine, Cool Joe Cuts is offering FREE haircuts for all first responders this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! As proud El Pasoans, we want to thank the tireless work our local heroes have been performing day in and day out. Cool Joe Cuts is ensuring we are taking the proper precautions as we slowly get back to normal. Here are the steps we are taking to keep our staff and customers as safe as possible: -We are meeting all disinfecting standards set by the CDC and government safety recommendations. -Stylists will wear masks, gloves, and face shields for each client. -All clients will be required to wear masks to ente,r and during their haircut. -Only 4 people are allowed in the waiting area at a time to ensure proper distancing. -We ask all clients wait in the car once you come in and sign up. A stylist will come out and get you when it is your turn. If you have tested positive, anyone in your family has tested positive, or if you are not feeling well, we ask that you not come in for the protection of our staff and customers. Children 12 and under can only be accompanied by 1 parent. 13 and older don't have to have a parent.
