Which KISS Members Belong In The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame [POLL]

The April 10th induction of KISS into the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame has stirred up a slight controversy. 

Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss formed KISS in the early 70's.  Ace and Peter pulled out in the mid to late 80s.  A string of stellar performers have drifted in and out of Kiss since then including Vinnie Vincent, Mark St. John and Bruce Kulick, as well as current members, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.

In '96, the original Kiss lineup got back together but the reunion was short lived.

That's when Tommy and Eric were asked to "stand in" for Peter and Ace and now they've been "Peter and Ace" longer than Peter and Ace were!  (They've had other gigs as well, click on their links!)  The Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame however only wants to acknowledge the original members and that's kinda where the shizzle starts.

The 4 original members have been fighting with each other over who should get to "wear the paint" as Gene says and play.  Gene/Paul say Peter/Ace threw their chance away and that Tommy and Eric deserve to be honored.

Team Peter-Ace say, "so what?"  They're still founders and writer/co-writers of the Kiss classics.

At the moment, it looks like all former members will be invited to sit at the table, but there will be no live performance .. or makeup worn .. by anybody.  Probably not much small talk either.

KISS lovers and haters alike have opinions on this soap opera. It's a PR wet dream; they've even got you and I looking at this!

Is the "come one, come all but nobody play" idea the best solution?  Should both factions suck it up and do a song together for the fans, regardless of who actually gets inducted?  Or wears the same outfit?  Maybe they could all play, but with that blurred out face effect they use on tv for kids and mafia informants!?!?

I hate to even get them started on who gives the acceptance speech. (The smart money's on Gene though.)

These guys are acting like 3rd graders, what do you think the kids should do??
