Anthrax is getting ready to head out on their massive tour with Slayer, Lamb of God and more but were the thrash metal icons just spotted in El Paso? Back in January, metal fans were ecstatic when massive North American tour was announced for Slayer for their Final World Tour. The thrash metal pioneers Slayer announced the tour and got metal heads salivating with the lineup that included Lamb of God, Behemoth, Testament and Anthrax. As if the massive star power of Slayer wasn't enough already to want you to check out their final tour. Well, the time has finally come and the bands are all getting ready to kick off the tour this Thursday, May 10 in San Diego, CA at the Valley View Casino Center. We don't know if one band is in El Paso, but we know for sure their tour bus at least made a stop in EP.

KLAQ listener Melissa messaged us to ask if we knew any details about where Anthrax was and where they're going after she spotted a tour bus with their name all over it at the Walmart off I-10 at Yarborough. She sent us this photo of her embracing the greatness that is seeing on of your favorite metal bands' tour bus at your local super center. After we digged around a bit, we found out that some members of the band may still be at their homes gearing yup for the tour, but yeah, that is definitely their bus and it was definitely in El Paso, as seen on Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante's Instagram:

Looks like maybe Charlie was in town and maybe some of you out there got pics with him! If you did, send them in to KLAQ so we can put them in this post!
