Ice Nine Kills Brings Iconic Horror Movies to El Paso AMC

If you're an Ice Nine Kills fan like me, then you know that part of the fun of their music is recognizing all the horror movies that inspired their songs.

And if you're also a horror movie fan, then you're REALLY going to love this!

Ice Nine Kills is teaming up with AMC Theatres and Bloody Disgusting for Welcome to Horrorwood, a monthlong horror movie series featuring some of the iconic films that inspired the band's music.

And El Paso is getting in on the scares!

Welcome to Horrorwood Is Coming to AMC El Paso 16

AMC El Paso 16 will be participating in all five movies featured in the series, which kicks off October 2 and runs through Halloween night.

Here's the full lineup:

Hostel (2005): October 2 & 6
Friday the 13th (1980): October 9 & 13
American Psycho (2000): October 16 & 20
Pet Sematary (1989): October 23 & 27
The Crow (1994): October 30 & 31

All screenings are scheduled for 8 p.m., with tickets available at AMC's discounted Fan Faves pricing.

Horror Movies With an Ice Nine Kills Twist

If you've listened to The Silver Scream albums, then you'll probably recognize a few of these movies right away.

Each screening will feature a special introduction from Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas, followed by the movie and a corresponding Ice Nine Kills music video inspired by the film.

This is such a fun way to experience the movies that inspired some of my favorite Ice Nine Kills songs, especially with Halloween right around the corner!

Plus, getting to watch The Crow on the big screen on Halloween night? That's a pretty solid way to wrap up spooky season.
