Today is National Beer Day and while you can't sit down in person and grab a craft brew, here's how you can still show your love. April 7th is National Beer Day and this day is usually highlighted by sitting down at your favorite brewery, taphouse or fill station to sip and celebrate one of the world's favorite drinks. This year is a little different, with the COVID-19 pandemic forcing everyone to celebrate solo. Even though you're stuck inside, there are still ways to support some great local establishments during this difficult time. Here are the top 3 ways.

Grab Some Craft Beer Curbside

The easiest way to support your favorite local spots is by buying some beer! Most breweries and filling stations are offering beer to-go through curbside pickup:

Buy Some Merch

Many breweries have their own merchandise for you to purchase and represent your favorite spot. Not to mention collecting growlers has become a hobby for many beer lovers and now is the perfect time to grab some limited edition glassware. Deadbeach Brewery has everything from t-shirts, hats, sunglasses, glassware, zip-up hoodies and more. El Paso Brewing Company has shirts, stickers, glassware, growlers, and even hand sanitizer! (It's sold out don't try I already did.)

Get Some Gift Cards For The Future

You can always grab some beer and food to go right now to enjoy but don't forget about the future. Gift cards are available and you can help make sure your favorite haunt has money now so they can be there for you when we can all finally leave the house.

Deadbeach Brewery is offering beer to go through online and phone orders. You can purchase 22-ounce bombers for $5, 32-ounce crowlers for $7, and 64-ounce growlers for $14.

Old Sheepdog Brewery have crowlers available to-go and are filling growlers on-site. 32-ounce crowlers are $10-$15 and 64-ounce growlers range from $20-$30.

Aurellia's Bottle and Brew have curbside pickup and delivery available for customers. They are also currently brewing a special imperial stout called "We're All In This Together" with 100% of proceeds going to their employees. They also have a quarantine special that includes a full-size specialty pizza, appetizer, 64-ounce growler of beer, and a slice of key lime pie.
