Trivium hasn't released any new music since 2011's In Waves, which I thought was a pretty good, but different sounding album for them.  I like the first albums Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy, I loved The Crusade, didn't really listen to Shogun that much, but In Waves grabbed me.  There are some really good songs on there, "Dusk Dismantled", "Watch the World Burn", "Black" and "Built to Fall" are all fantastic songs.

When I heard a while back that David Draiman was producing the new Trivium album, I thought it was a little odd, sort of.  I love Disturbed, and Device is pretty cool, but I didn't want him to turn Trivium into a more mainstream-style band.  I have been looking forward to the new album, though, and now there's video from Bucharest, Romania of the new song "Brave This Storm".

It's fast and heavy, but still with some melody, and it really makes me want to hear the rest of the album, Vengeance Falls.  It's due out this fall, and you can get the first transmission for the new album from their Facebook page.  It's pretty weird, but cool tech. I like the album art, too...
