The Downtown Streetfest begins tomorrow with Filter, Saliva and Theory of A Deadman! Today on the KLAQ Morning show, the lead singer of Theory of a Deadman Tyler Connolly called in to talk about coming to perform at streetfest.

During the interview, we learned how the band got their recording contract:

"I was friends with Chad from Nickelback, and he told me that he was starting a record label, so when Nickelback blew up he was true to his word and signed us."

Tyler also talks about recording music for Vince McMahon from the WWE:

"It was great.  We got to record two songs for the WWE, I did't realize how big wrestling was until we did it."

We also learned what the inspiration was for their song "Bad Girlfriend":

"Yeah, I wrote it about my ex-wife"
