We have all been eagerly anticipating the Netflix series based on the beloved Tejano queen and now we have a release date and a new trailer to enjoy. Selena fans have been dying to get more looks at actress Christian Serratos embodying one of our idols and the American actress is slaying the part so far. Back in November, we got our first glimpse of Serratos putting on her red lipstick and preparing to dance the washing machine all over the stage as Selena Quintanilla, the Queen of Tejano music. Now, Netflix is giving us more of what we want by releasing the new trailer for the "Selena" Netflix series and giving us the date the show will premiere.

According to Deadline, the new Netflix "Selena" series will be debuting December 4th on the streaming site. Netflix released a new trailer and poster for the show this week and fans responded positively to Serratos portrayal of Quintanilla. Wearing Selena's signature red lips, bustier, and tight pants, she looks eerily similar to the gone star. At least so far what we have all seen. The show will follow a young Selena as she follows her dreams of becoming a singing sensation. The series will follow the entire Quintanilla family as well as they deal with the trials and tribulations that come with fame and success.
