The Lost El Paso Paranormal will be hosting the La Llorona Festival next Friday, September 13. There will be local artisans, vendors, live music, poetry, and performances. There will even be a contest you can participate in that will be judged by a look-alike and scream-a-like to win prizes. Costumes are highly encouraged.

The purpose of this event is to highlight the history of the folklore of La Llorona. As more Americans start loving La Llorona due to her big-screen debut this year, El Pasoans have always celebrated the story our ancestors used to scare the crap out of many generations.  At the event, you can meet and greet Weird Texas author Heather Shade and her amazing crew. There will be ghost stories shared by others about La Llorona and they will have some items for sale.
