Warner Bro. UK has created one of the most impressive marketing stunts that plenty of social media users fell for. If you took part of the 'Charlie Charlie Challenge' like Buzz and Fernie, you helped promote the new movie, The Gallows.

According to Oh No They Didn't, they found a video that linked back to the horror movie hashtag #TheGallows. The plot of this movie involves students trying to reenact a play that results in the lead actors death, whose name happens to be Charlie.

Of course, some people are still going to believe that this game is a way to open a portal to the spirit world, but it's not. You are just going to waste your time and your lunch money on pencils. If you do continue to be interested in the Charlie Charlie Challenge, you can go ahead and watch The Gallows when it is released in theaters July 10th.
