The Catalina Wine Mixer From ‘Step Brothers’ Is Now a Real Thing

"It's the f*cking Catalina Wine Mixer."Step Brothers is a cult classic movie, with fans all over the world who love saying memorable lines from the film. Many work right here in the KLAQ studios. One of the most memorable moments in the movie is the "Annual Catalina Wine Mixer."

In the movie, this the scene where the two step brothers come together for an uplifting performance mashup of "Por Ti Volare" and "Boats 'N Hoes." This is after the cover band Uptown Girl's lead singer Dan flips out because he keeps getting requests for non-'80s Billy Joel songs, which is the only thing he sings.

Well now their party is about to become a reality on Sept. 13 at the Descanso Beach Club. You can even see the singer Dan from the fiction Uptown Girl band. His real band, The Dan Band, will be performing at the soiree.

There will be gourmet food and wine, DJs, and even helicopters like in the original Catalina Wine Mixer. The entire island is pretty excited about the new party.

Fans of the movie can attend the Catalina Wine Mixer for only $35, with cabana rentals ranging from $150 to $800.

The only thing that could make this party even better, would be if Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are going to show up and recreate their epic performance. Since we can't make it out there this weekend for this epic party, we can watch the scene over again right now below.
