The After Buzz with Brandon Coates — September 4, 2019

Football season is upon us! Here is what I'm talking about on this week's After Buzz.

• Should I keep playing fantasy football? It has actually bored me for a couple years now. I won my league back in the 2017 season and I could not have cared less. I get the joy of watching your players in games you normally wouldn't care about, but the whole injury aspect and randomness is just too much for me.
• Our new puppy Lucy is finally out of quarantine and able to be around the other dogs... and they don't like her. She's a typical pup so she's got a ton of energy and they just want to be left alone.
• There is a great story line happening in Marvel right now called Absolute Carnage. If you aren't familiar with Carnage, here's the quick rundown.
  • Spider-Man begat Venom
  • Venom begat Carnage
  • And Carnage is one of the worst villains in Marvel and he's looking to resurrect a 'God' for the symbiotes for ultimate destruction.
