The After Buzz — April 5, 2017

This week I'm joined by YouTube Chatter Ivan "Carlos" Gomez. And we continue the topics that we've been talking about on the show this week that really got the phones going.

The first topic was old wives' tales. Here on the border, there are apparently a lot of them. From not walking on tile with bare feet, to using a safety pin to prevent a cleft pallet, to putting water in a zip lock baggy outside your home to keep flies away.

The other topic was things that we may have forgotten but will bring memories flooding back. Nostalgia is always something that creates a lengthy conversation. Especially when you can add the phrase "Kids these days have no idea how good they have it." I mean, remember how difficult it was to record on a VCR sometimes? Or having a Discman as your CD player in your car and it would skip with the slightest bump? Ahh, the good ole' days.
